Benefits, Constrains and Risks

Vibration therapy is a specialised form of physical therapy that uses controlled mechanical vibrations to stimulate the body’s muscles, bones, and nerves. This targeted stimulation enhances therapeutic outcomes and may provide unique benefits beyond those achievable through conventional physical therapy or mainstream medical treatments.

  • Through inducing rapidly repeated skeletal muscle contractions, vibration activates and exercises our muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Muscle contractions also create a skeletal muscle pump effect, facilitating the distribution and relay of blood and lymph.

  • In other words, vibration intervention influences our three body systems: 1) musculoskeletal system, 2) neuromuscular system, and 3) peripheral circulation system.
